My Why... Message
from Chris Michaud
My Father John Michaud was diagnosed with ALS in February 2018, and succumbed to the illness January 31st, 2021, at the age of 56. Watching my father suffer through his diagnosis, his illness, and his last moments on this planet, I have known I have needed to do whatever I can to eradicate this horrifying disease. Working with Amara Bates for the Walk for ALS events that happen yearly was an easy choice to keep the money I raised local to assist in my goal of doing what I could to fight this disease. My father always had a love for all things motorized whether it was boats, cars, trucks, motorcycles, planes etc. if it was fast and loud, my father was in. honoring him and his legacy by presenting a donation to the ALS Evergreen Chapter with the funds raised by a car and truck show is exactly how to achieve this.
